I am an amateur artist working on abstract art in many media forms, I first started about six years ago, working on some art work for my home, where I had a huge wall that needed something big. Shortly to follow was several pieces to match for other walls around the house, and a couple for friends. I had a little break well about two years and then at the beginning of 2005 I came back with vengeance and started work on Why Season 1, I was using house paints as my media with a huge variety of applications, including hands, brushes and spatulas. I spent six months working on Why Season 1 and on moving house decided that a new season should be started. Why Season 2, the stunning name was a high point of my creativity, :)
In Why Season 2 I was still using house paints and was still getting great effects and decided to try using spray cans in some of the paintings, the canvas sizes started to vary and a lot of paintings were done to requests, a lot more blending took place in this time, and the search was on to find different styles that I could develop and use to create new effects.
My Life My Rules, Season 3 the latest season April 2006 – present, I had completed a painting by the same name in Why Season 2, this hangs on my wall at home, it was not the biggest painting, but just had that statement and was a very powerful one. During April I was in England visiting friends I got talked in to doing some paintings for them, well how could I say no….. So off I trotted to find paint and canvas's to create them something interesting, well that did happen My Life My Rules Season 3 kicked off, with a strange effect a different style was being used and the loyal fan base seemed to like it. This new style of painting actually meant I could move in to the warm, not like previous seasons where I had moved in to the garage because of the paint being flicked and sprayed and ending up every where, season 3 was detail all the time. Although I am sure that the nice new colourations to the lounge carpet are still indication I should be in the garage but at least I am warm at night :).
Season 3 saw many changes, moving from house paint to Artist Acrylic and using lots of new and exciting artist media, new effects and ideas have been created. One thing can be said about my paintings they are not dull, most of them are raised media and you find you just want to run you hands across them others you just want to stare at to see what you can see. Season 3 has some interesting edges done on the cavases, not all are done but you will find most.
Season 4 "Amor" Something differnt again, some paintings have been generated from ideas and works spotted around, the main differences is easy to see, but you will also notice the sizes, the paintings have got bigger and boulder. Some of the photos taken are not the best as the glossy coat reflects but I will find the best photos I can, these are abstracts and as you will see a slight change to workign on some Pop Art please remember I am not a professional. So please enjoy this site, feel free to contact me and also feel free to place feed back, this is always welcome.
